Elizabeth Gibbons is a Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (CDGP) and founder of Empower to Comply LLC, a Michigan-based consultancy specializing in hazardous materials transportation compliance for emerging energy technologies. An active member of the Council on Safe Transportation of Hazardous Articles (COSTHA), she also serves on SAE’s Battery Transportation & Storage Committee, co-leading the revision of SAE J2950. Elizabeth helps manufacturers, recyclers, and technology developers bridge global regulations with practical, safe solutions for lithium-ion batteries and other dangerous goods across the supply chain.
